THE WORLD TURNS SOFTLY

“The world turns softly not to spill its lakes and rivers.” This quote is by Hilda Conkling. Upon coming across it, fellow designer Amanda Lee and I immediately started to visualize the imagery and metaphors through it. We thought of water and its many forms, solid and liquid, and examined both its nurturing and destructive properties. Through this video we explored these properties of water, to show that although water can be a destructive source, it is balanced out in many forms to be as nurturing as possible.
