National Sawdust, a Brooklyn-based music incubator, is dedicated to nurturing artists and pushing the boundaries of music, making it a transformative space in the arts community. To celebrate its 10th Anniversary Season, National Sawdust launched the campaign We'll Take You Beyond, featuring a striking portrait series by acclaimed photographer Brigitte Lacombe. Showcasing 23 visionary artists, these images highlight the diversity and innovation that define National Sawdust's mission. The campaign extended across New York City, with subway posters inviting audiences to explore the future of art through the voices and perspectives of these influential creators. Partnering with Bloomberg Connects, the campaign also included a video series where each artist shared insights on their work and aspirations.
As the designer behind the We'll Take You Beyond subway campaign, I brought Brigitte Lacombe's captivating portraits to life in public spaces across NYC. I conceptualized and executed the layout for the posters to ensure they captured the essence of each artist and resonated with a city-wide audience. In addition to the posters, I collaborated with video editor Paul Leiber to develop a video series in partnership with Bloomberg Connects, spotlighting each artist’s process and vision. This cohesive campaign served as a powerful narrative of National Sawdust’s impact over the past decade and its commitment to fostering creative exploration.
