2024 INAUGURAL GALA

Black Theatre Coalition (BTC) is committed to increasing representation for Black artists and stories in the theater world. Through their advocacy and programming, they aim to create a more inclusive theater community.

For the inaugural Building The Change Gala on February 12, 2024, at the Rainbow Room, I had the privilege of art directing and designing all the graphics. This special evening honored La La Anthony and the National Black Theatre, featuring performances by Bebe Winans, Jennifer Holliday, and Alex Newell. The event included beautifully designed invitations, engaging social media graphics, presentation visuals for the gala stage, and a striking step and repeat backdrop, all crafted to celebrate the spirit of the occasion and BTC’s mission.
